Lanesboro went very well and the feedback from spectators was very good. They especially liked that even though we always rob the bank, it always has a different twist to it--they like being surprised.
Mabel also went well. Everything we did was new and we did use music. They liked all that. We didn't have enough time to set up the mics but they should work well. They seem to work out to about 150 ft. from the amp.
Thanks to everybody who showed up for these events and made them successful. We do need these types of gigs to continue operating.
Action Items:
At the Sept meeting we discussed the advantages of incorporating the group and voted to do it. This is Hud's action and needs to get done by the next event which will be in February. The rest of the meeting was spent in planning scenarios.
Quite a few pictures were taken this year so we (Hud) will try to get some selected to put on our website.
Reminders:
The next scheduled meeting is Oct 7th at King's in Miesville at 6:30.
Dues will be accepted for next year. Still $25 dollars for individual or family and COWS pays for insurance.
We will be looking for a new Deputy Sheriff so think about volunteering.
